Bentley School is a Kindergarten to Grade 12 school located in a supportive rural community. We are looking for an educator who is passionate about student learning, demonstrates strong instructional practices, and is committed to creating a positive and engaging classroom environment.

Assignment:

- Full time 1.0 FTE probationary teaching position
- Courseload to include: Grades 7-9 Social Studies and Language Arts
- Duties to commence August 26, 2026 and will continue for the remainder of the 2026/2027 school year.
- The final teaching assignment may be adjusted to suite the successful candidates strengths and overall school needs.

Qualifications:

- Passion for teaching junior high students
- Demonstrated strength in grade 7-9 Social Studies and Language Arts
- Ability to contribute to a collaborative,



student-focused middle school team
- Strong understanding of curriculum and assessment practices for relevant subjects and levels
- Ability to create an engaging, inclusive, and differentiated learning experience
- Ability to support diverse learners and adapt instruction to meet a variety of student needs
- Commitment to building positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues
- Commitment to supporting student growth, both academically and socially
- Passion for education and a commitment to student success
- Effective classroom management that facilitates protected, caring, and inclusive spaces for all students
- Strong planning and organizational skills
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented learning environment and be a positive team member
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth
