Front Desk Agent Gym Nation Fort McMurray is a family owned and operated business located in Fort McMurray, AB. We are a full service dental practice that specializes in general, cosmetic and periodontal care. We are looking for a motivated individual to join our team as a front desk agent. The ideal candidate will have a friendly personality and excellent customer service skills. The candidate must be able to multitask and have an ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Greet and check patients in and out
- Answer phones, take payments, schedule appointments
- Provide information about services and products
- Check patients in and out, answer patient questions about services or treatment, collect payment
- Monitor schedule of treatments and patient’s preferences
- Schedule current patients, update records, prepare appointments for new patients
- Assist with billing and collection of past due accounts
- Perform other duties as assigned by management
Skills & Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
- Must be able to work with computers including Microsoft Office Suite programs. Knowledge of dental software is preferred. Knowledge of dental terminology is required. Knowledge of dental instruments is required. Ability to transcribe, write, speak, read, and understand English is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality of patient information is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality of electronic medical records is required. Ability to maintain confidentiality of electronic medical records is required. Ability to work independently with little supervision is required.
Job Types: Part time, Casual Pay: From $17.00 per hour
