- Role: Electrical Maintenance Planner
- Location: Bath, Ontario, Canada

Role Overview This role is responsible for planning, scheduling, and coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities to ensure optimal equipment performance and cost-effective operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to enhance maintenance processes and support operational goals.

Key Responsibilities

- Plan and schedule preventive and corrective maintenance activities using SAP PM/DMS
- Manage work order processes from creation through completion
- Develop weekly, daily, and long-term maintenance plans in coordination with relevant departments
- Coordinate resources including materials, tools, labor, and equipment downtime
- Support planning and execution of plant shutdowns, including scope development and resource allocation
- Monitor maintenance costs and contribute to budget planning and tracking
- Prepare detailed scopes of work and support vendor coordination and RFQ processes
- Track performance metrics and lead post-maintenance reviews for continuous improvement
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards
- Promote a strong safety culture across all maintenance activities

Required Qualifications

- Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent practical experience
- Extensive experience in electrical maintenance and repair




- Strong understanding of applicable electrical safety codes and standards
- Experience with maintenance planning systems such as SAP
- Knowledge of problem-solving methodologies (e.g., root cause analysis)
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications

- Experience in plant shutdown planning and execution
- Familiarity with inspection processes and condition monitoring
- Strong analytical and technical documentation skills

Work Environment

- Based in Ontario, Canada
- Occasional travel (less than 5%)
- Work may involve industrial environments requiring adherence to safety protocols and use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
