Scholars of Calgary Capitol Hill is seeking a passionate and enthusiastic part-time French / ELA Tutor to join our team to support students in developing their language and academic skills. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and possess solid communication abilities in French and English.

Our teachers play a key role in this journey. The successful candidate will be trained to our standards and teaching methodology.
Location
The chosen candidate will provide tutoring services at the Scholars Capitol Hill location, 1442 20 Ave NW, Calgary AB T2M 1G5.
Qualified candidates must possess:
Proficiency in French and English with excellent oral and written skills in both languages.
Must be able to teach core French and French immersion up to a grade 12 level.
Experience working with children in an educational or tutoring setting.
Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with students of various ages with the ability to teach in a 2:1 ratio or 3:1 ratio.
Tutors who are qualified and competent to teach additional subjects including ELA and Math are preferred.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet diverse learning styles and needs.
Patience, creativity, and enthusiasm for helping students succeed in their academic pursuits.
Exceptionally organized and meticulous for attention to detail.
Candidates must be able to work a minimum of two shifts per week within the teaching window:
Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 7:00 pm
Friday, 1:00 - 6:00 pm
Saturday, 9:00 am - 1:00 pm

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Secondary School (required)
Students currently enrolled in a relevant post secondary degree are welcome to apply.
