The Dryden Regional Health Centre is seeking to fill the following position with a highly motivated, team-orientated professional:

Permanent Part time

Clinical Information Clerk - Emergency Room (Nights)

Reporting to the Manager - Clinical Information, the Clinical Information Clerk - Emergency Room ensures that all patients are properly registered to receive care, working closely with our multidisciplinary team within the Emergency Department during overnight hours (23:30-07:00).

Responsibilities

- Receive clients and visitors
- Ensure complete patient profile and processing
- Registration, form and chart creation
- Perform switchboard duties
- Inspection of Health Numbers for validity for all Ontario Clients
- Statistical Reporting
- Other duties as required

Qualifications

- Medical Terminology course preferred (commitment to obtain if not held)
- Excellent Interpersonal and Communication skills (written & oral)
- Understanding and commitment to confidentiality
- Experience working in a fast pace, high demand workplace
- Demonstrates behaviours consistent with Dryden Regional Health Centre's Code of Conduct and Standards of Behaviour
- Demonstrates DRHC Core Values; Accountability, Integrity, Humility, Compassion and Respect
- Immunization status to be presented prior to hire,



including proof of Covid-19 vaccination
