As a Line Cook, the main responsibility will be preparing meals in a professional, thorough, and timely manner. It is important to be able to maintain a clean working setting, prepare ingredients as needed and assist in making customer meals.

Key Responsibilities:

- Prepare and cook menu items to the highest standards of quality and consistency.
- Assist in daily food preparation, including ingredient prep, portioning, and storing.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitized work area throughout service.
- Operate commercial kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
- Execute lunch and dinner specials using fresh, seasonal ingredients.
- Ensure all food is plated and presented according to restaurant standards.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure dishes are served in a timely and coordinated manner.
- Monitor inventory and alert management when supplies need replenishing.
- Comply with health, safety, and sanitation regulations at all times.
- Clean kitchen equipment, tools, and appliances after each shift.
- Follow all operational procedures and policies.
- Assist chefs and kitchen leadership as needed.
- Provide guidance to kitchen helpers and junior staff as required.




- Participate in maintaining kitchen logs and records.
- Take part in creating a safe, efficient, and enjoyable work environment.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the chef or manager.

Qualifications:

- Previous experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment is an asset.
- Strong understanding of food safety and sanitation practices.
- Proficient in using commercial kitchen tools and equipment.
- Comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
- Familiarity with cooking terminology, measurements, and conversions.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Strong multitasking and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills and a positive attitude.
- High attention to detail and a commitment to consistent quality.

Requirements:

- Ability to stand for extended periods.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Comfortable with repetitive tasks and fast-paced workflow.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
