Position Overview:
We are seeking a caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Early Childhood Assistant to join the Tiny Hearts team. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to work in a supportive childcare setting.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support daily routines and programming
- Supervise and engage children in a safe and caring manner
- Assist with transitions, meals, and classroom setup
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment
- Work collaboratively with staff and families
- Follow all centre policies and Ontario childcare regulations
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Valid Vulnerable Sector Check (VSC)
- Standard First Aid & CPR Level C (or willingness to obtain)
- Reliable, responsible, and team-oriented
- Genuine interest in working with children
