Westrans is a leading remanufacturer and supplier of parts for commercial trucks, light duty vehicles, agricultural equipment, and heavy-duty industrial equipment. We are seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual to join our team in a dual-role position in our Core Receiving department. This role combines hands on warehouse responsibilities with administrative and customer service duties.
Customer Service and Administrative duties:
- Serve as the first point of contact for customers dropping off or picking up products
- Assist customers with inquiries – in person and over the phone
- Provide receipts, documentation and clear information regarding transactions
- Create and update work orders as required
- Maintain accurate records of incoming units and cores
- Ensure all paperwork is completed and forwarded to the production office
Core Receiving and Warehouse duties:
- Identify, inspect and evaluate core returns for physical conditions and provide accurate documentation
- Safely load and unload delivery trucks and customer vehicles
- Prepare units for next stage of processing – Including moving units between departments
Skills Required:
- Robust verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Highly organized with strong time management abilities
- Ability to lift to 50 pounds
- Willingness to be trained and operate forklift (Forklift experience an asset)
- Ability to work safely and follow all workplace safety procedures
