Responsibilities
- Negotiate freight rates and service terms with carriers and clients to optimize profitability and service quality.
- Manage customer relationships by providing exceptional service, addressing inquiries, and resolving issues promptly.
- Coordinate the booking of freight shipments, ensuring timely pickup and delivery in accordance with client requirements.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, rates, and communication using data entry systems.
- Develop new business opportunities through B2B sales efforts, account management, and inside/outside sales strategies.
- Collaborate with supply chain teams to ensure efficient routing and scheduling of freight loads.
- Utilize industry knowledge of 3PL providers, freight regulations and supply chain logistics to enhance operational effectiveness.
- Track shipment progress, update clients on status changes, and handle any unforeseen issues proactively.
Experience
- Experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or supply chain management preferred.
- Strong negotiation skills with the ability to secure favorable rates while maintaining excellent carrier relationships.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management (CRM) tools and date entry platforms.
- Knowledge of B2B sales processes, account management, and inside/outside sales techniques.
- Understanding of freight operations, 3PL services, and supply chain dynamics is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills wit the ability to build rapport with clients and carriers alike.
- Prior experience working with freight management software or transportation management systems (TMS) is a plus.

Pay: $75,000.00-$1,000,000.00 per year
