The Opportunity

We are seeking hardworking and dependable individuals to join our team in the role of Loader Operator, based in the Lynn Lake, Manitoba area. This is a hands-on role suitable for a safety-conscious, reliable individual who takes pride in their equipment and their work.

Your Day-to-Day

- Safely operate and maintain a front-end loader
- Perform daily pre-operational and post-operational inspections and attend safety meetings
- Manage and report inventory and production
- Clean and lubricate and refuel equipment as required
- Monitor equipment fitness, and ever-changing conditions
- Perform minor repairs to equipment when required
- Maintain accurate electronic hours of service logs and vehicle inspection logs
- Perform physically demanding work including lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, crouching, climbing, crawling, repetitive reaching, and extended periods of standing throughout the workday
- Work outdoors in varying weather conditions, including inclement weather
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Rotational shift schedule of two (2) weeks in and two (2) weeks out including evening work as required
- Work in accordance with all internal, client and regulated health and safety policies,



procedures and/or regulations, including wearing appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
- Perform other related duties as assigned

You Are a Good Fit If You Have

Required:

- Minimum of one (1) year of experience operating a front-end loader
- Valid G class Driver’s License
- Strong commitment to safety and teamwork

Considered an Asset:

- Prior experience in the construction, mining, and pits and quarries
- Surface Miner Common Core
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent

Skills & Abilities:

- Successfully passed comprehensive pre-employment third party testing requirements (drug and alcohol testing and a Criminal Background Check (CPIC) and any other requirements they impose on contractors)
- Knowledge of loading requirements, techniques, and practices
- Ability to perform physically intensive and strenuous tasks
- Ability to work efficiently with minimal supervision
- Strong communication skills with supervisors, coworkers, and clients
- Ability to adapt to changing job requirements and schedules
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Professional attitude and strong work ethic
