Lynn Lake Gold Project

The Lynn Lake Gold Project is one of the highest-grade open pit gold deposits in Canada, located in northern Manitoba near the Town of Lynn Lake. The project includes two primary sites, MacLellan and Gordon, and features strong existing infrastructure. Lynn Lake represents a key growth opportunity for Alamos Gold and provides students with hands-on experience in an active mine development environment.

Warehouse / Yard Labourer – Summer Student

Role Overview

As a Warehouse / Yard Labourer – Summer Student, you will support the warehouse, procurement, and site services teams at the Lynn Lake Project during the summer term. Working closely with tradespeople, operators, and supervisors, you will assist with material handling, inventory management, and general yard and warehouse activities that help keep site operations running safely and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse & Material Handling: Assist with safely loading and unloading building materials, lumber, parts, and large items from trucks and trailers using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other lifting equipment.

Inventory Support: Count, sort, store, and organize inventory; assist with parts retrieval and inventory organization.

Housekeeping & Yard Maintenance: Maintain clean, orderly, and safe warehouse and yard areas, including sweeping and removal of packing materials and debris.

Equipment & Service Support:



Assist with inspections, lubrication, cleaning, and basic servicing of mobile and fixed equipment as directed.

Safety & Compliance: Participate in safety meetings and hazard assessments; follow all site safety procedures and consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Documentation & Teamwork: Complete work logs and checklists accurately and collaborate with warehouse staff, tradespeople, operators, and supervisors to support site activities.

What You Bring to the Table

- Currently enrolled in high school or a post-secondary program related to logistics, trades, administration, or a similar field.
- Ability to frequently lift and move objects weighing 50 lbs (23 kg) or more.
- Comfortable working outdoors and in all weather conditions, including heat and cold.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, kneel, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
- Strong organizational, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced mining environment.
- Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently when required.
- Valid driver’s licence; forklift certification considered an asset.
- Minimum age of 16 years to work in surface operations.

Working Conditions

- Full-time summer student position.
- Rotational schedule: 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off.
- 11-hour shifts.
- Site-based role at the Lynn Lake Project, Manitoba.

Physical Requirements

- Frequent lifting, carrying,



and manual handling of materials.
- Outdoor and industrial work environment.

Travel & Accommodation

- Must have own transportation to and from the mine site or to Winnipeg Airport, Manitoba

Salary: Hourly wage range: $19.00 – $31.97 CAD, based on experience and qualifications.

The expected salary range for this role is intended to support transparency and informed decision making. Final compensation will be based on skills, experience and internal equity.
