- Perform diagnostics, repairs and maintenance on vehicles
- Maintain efficiency and accuracy in diagnosing and repairing vehicles
- Inspect parts such as; hoses, belts, plugs, fuel systems, brakes and other possible troublesome items
- Inspect motor in operation, road test vehicles, test systems and components using computerized diagnostics and other testing devices to isolate faults
- Adjust, repair or replace parts and components including fuel systems, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control as well as electrical and electronic systems.

Requirements

- Red Seal Certification would be considered an asset but not necessary
- Must possess a valid driver's license and a protected driving history




- Excellent communication skills and organizational skills
- Ability to operate electronic diagnostic equipment
- Ability to work individually and as part of a team

Job Types: Full-time, Apprenticeship

Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Norwich, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Experience:

- automotive technician: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

- Driver's License (required)
- Journeyman (preferred)
