Skilled Labourer– Job Advertisement

We’re looking for full-time Skilled Labourer(s) to work out of our Calmar, Alberta yard. This role will be responsible for physical support to our Service & Maintenance team in order to facilitate the completion of service and maintenance tasks.

About the Role

- Completing general labour tasks such as repairs, cleaning, painting, loading, hauling, shifting of furnishing and/or materials for the purpose of servicing and repairing Komplete and 3rd party units
- Performing rough & finishing carpentry work, tin cladding installation, light electrical & plumbing work, assisting with fleet maintenance of all incoming/outgoing units and operating a light vehicle to pick up parts.
- Assisting with set-ups and installations plus the servicing of downed equipment and maintenance
- Assisting with yard maintenance such as weed control, snow removal, clean up and organization of supplies, materials, tools and other items stored in the yard
- Following and being active in all health and safety company rules, policies and government regulations
- Assessment and maintenance of all incoming and outgoing fleet units
- Assisting with unit renovations, upgrades,



servicing downed equipment and other maintenance work as required
- Providing pick-up and delivery of parts and equipment as needed

Experience & Qualifications

- Minimum 2 years experience working construction, labour, and maintenance is preferred
- Any working experience in modular construction or residential construction is an asset
- Safety training in WHMIS and construction safety training systems is preferred
- Training in fall arrest, wheel loader certification and Standard first aid is an asset
- Mechanically inclined and willingness to work with your hands
- Robust communication skills in both written and verbal
- High standard of quality work, attention to detail and effectively managing time
- Ability to work in a high level of physical work, exerting up to 50 pounds or more of force occasionally

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $23.00-$28.00 per hour
