We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical repairs. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining heavy equipment and a tractor trailer fleet, to ensure optimal operational efficiency. Candidates should possess excellent analysis skills, and mechanical knowledge. Strong communication skills are also significant for collaborating with team members and supporting operational needs.

Duties

- Diagnosing and repairing heavy equipment
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery to minimize downtime
- Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues related to equipment
- Replace or repair components such as belts, hoses, tires, filters, motors, and electrical wiring
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations during all maintenance activities




- Maintain detailed records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities

Skills

- Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy machinery
- Knowledge of preventative maintenance, best practices
- Analytical skills for troubleshooting complex equipment issues efficiently
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and teamwork

Candidates should be committed to safety, quality workmanship, and continuous improvement.

Pay: $28.00-$38.00 per hour
