Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Automotive Service Manager to oversee daily operations within our dealership service department. The ideal candidate will lead a team of technicians and service advisors, ensuring exceptional customer service, efficient workflow, and profitable service operations. This role requires strong leadership skills, extensive automotive knowledge, and a focus on delivering outstanding automotive repair and maintenance services. The Automotive Service Manager will play a key role in maintaining high customer satisfaction while driving sales and operational excellence.

Duties

- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the service department staff, including technicians and service advisors.
- Ensure all automotive repairs and services meet quality standards and are completed in a timely manner.
- Manage customer interactions, providing excellent customer service and resolving any issues or concerns professionally.
- Oversee the sales process, including upselling additional services or repairs to maximize revenue opportunities.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and maintain proper documentation of all financial activities.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to improve efficiency, productivity, and customer satisfaction.




- Monitor inventory levels of parts and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure smooth workflow.
- Train staff on technical procedures, safety protocols, and customer service best practices.
- Maintain compliance with safety regulations and dealership policies at all times.

Experience

- Proven dealership experience with a solid understanding of automotive repair processes.
- Mechanic experience or mechanical knowledge is highly desirable to effectively communicate with technicians and understand repair work.
- Strong background in customer service with excellent communication skills.
- Experience in sales, including upselling services or products to customers.
- Familiarity with cash handling procedures and financial transactions within a dealership environment.

Pay: $52,006.47-$80,000.00 per year
