Let me tell you about us first.

The Stable Restaurant is located in the small town of Metcalfe, in south Ottawa.

We (my wife and I) started in June of 2020. Yes, during the peak of Covid we decided to open a restaurant! :)

Are we crazy?!? No, we lost our tenants and still needed to pay the mortgage, taxes, insurance, utilities… so we thought “What do we have to lose?!”

We have lived in the area our whole lives, raised our family in Metcalfe and have run our other business “Clarmo Auto Repair” here for 25yrs now.

This Mechanic is now a Restaurateur!!! The restaurant business really isn’t much different than the garage business. It’s actually the same recipe, positive people, good service and good products.

It has been quite a rollercoaster ride,



but we have powered through it and the future is looking fantastic for The Reliable Restaurant.

We are focused on being a Family Style restaurant, not a bar. Our hours of operation are 6:30am- 9pm.

We are currently looking to add a couple of experienced, talented members to our awesome kitchen team. Strength in breakfast service is a bonus!

Pay/Salary based on experience and knowledge.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $45,000.00-$70,000.00 per year
