Surepoint is seeking a Business Development Representative to expand our market presence across Central Alberta! This role is designed for a self‑motivated professional who understands industrial services and possesses the commercial drive to turn technical knowledge into consistent revenue.
You will represent Surepoint's E&I; solutions within the region. While operating with independence, you are supported by a premier technical team that provides the deep expertise required to deliver for our clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities to expand our footprint in Central Alberta.
- Promote our full suite of electrical and instrumentation services.
- Draft proposals and service agreements, ensuring pricing aligns with market conditions and company goals.
- Manage the full sales lifecycle, from initial lead generation to project closing. Build and maintain long‑term client partnerships through a consistent regional presence.
- Maintain accurate CRM data and provide sales updates. Monitor local market activity and competitive trends to help the team stay ahead of equipment and margin shifts.
Qualifications
- Proven success in industrial or oilfield service sales. Expertise in industrial E&I; services is preferred.
- Ability to navigate B2B sales cycles and coordinate service projects effectively.
- An existing network within the Western Canadian energy market and the ability to manage a Central Alberta travel schedule.
- Skilled at translating technical requirements into clear, professional proposals for clients.
- A disciplined, goal‑oriented mindset with a track record of meeting revenue targets and contributing to a positive team environment.
Working Environment
This role requires a strong field presence at gas plants and industrial facilities throughout the region. Regular travel within Central Alberta is a core requirement.
