Job Summary

nWe are seeking a skilled Mechanic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing various vehicles and machinery (Trucks, tractors, mowers, small engines). This position requires a robust mechanical aptitude and the ability to work with a variety of tools and equipment.n

Credientails

nValild Drivers License (class G) Mechanic class 310S (Automotive) or 310T (Truck/Coach)n

Duties

- Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and machinery (Diesel and gas)n
n
- Diagnose and repair mechanical issuesn
n
- Use power tools and hand tools effectivelyn
n
- Interpret schematics and technical manualsn
n
- Conduct inspections to identify worn or damaged partsn
n
- Experience working with farm machinery is advantageousn
n
- Provide excellent customer service when interacting with clientsn

n
- Weld components as neededn

n

nSkillsn

n
- Strong mechanical knowledge and troubleshooting skills, detect faults and malfunctionsn
n
- Knowledge of fuel injection systems, exhaust , cooling, air conditioning system, lubrication, engine controll system, major internal engine repairs or overhauln
n




- Knowledge of mechanical transmissions, drive trains and final drives, hydraulic transmissions, power take off, wheel mounted vehicle suspension and steering. differentials, brake systems.n

- Highway and off-road vehicle tires and wheels.n
n
- Troubleshoot and inspect equipment. Understanding diagnostic scanning and diagnosing fault codes. Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts. Test equipment for proper performance and to ensure that work meets manufactures' specifications. Clean lubricate and perform other maintenance work. Service attachments and working toolsn

- Attach components and adjust new farm equipmentn-Order parts and maintain inventoryn

- Keep maintenance reports and documentationn
n
- Proficient in using power tools and hand toolsn
n
- Ability to lift heavy objects - tractor implements - Up to 45Kg (100 lbs)n
n

nJob Type: Full-timenPay: $35.00-$40.00 per hour

- Automotive repair: 1 year (preferred)
