nEast York Pharmasave is an independent, patient-focused community pharmacy dedicated to providing personalized care and high-quality compounding services. We are looking for an experienced, motivated, highly organized, and detail-oriented Compounding Technician to join our growing team.n

Position Details

- Part-time, morning half-day shifts
n
- 3-month evaluation period with opportunity for growth
n
- Potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs

nKey Responsibilitiesn

n
- Prepare 5–9 compounded prescriptions per shift while maintaining accuracy and quality standards
n
- Compound a variety of dosage forms (e.g., creams, ointments, suspensions, capsules)
n
- Accurately document all compounding activities in accordance with regulatory and pharmacy requirements
n
- Perform and maintain equipment calibration as per standard operating procedures
n
- Follow and enforce proper garbing and hygiene protocols for compounding
n
- Order and manage compounding supplies to ensure appropriate inventory levels
n
- Maintain and clean compounding equipment and ensure a well-organized workspace
n
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory standards
n
- Collaborate with pharmacists and team members to support optimal patient care
n

nQualificationsn

n
- 1–2 years of compounding experience in a pharmacy setting
n
- Strong understanding of compounding procedures, including calibration, garbing, and formulation techniques
n




- Experience in preparing a range of dosage forms
n
- Experience with Kroll pharmacy software
n
- Education as a Pharmacist, Pharmacy Technician, or Pharmacy Assistant
n
- Highly organized with strong workflow management skills
n
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
n
- Self-starter who can work independently and as part of a team
