The Peace River School Division is seeking applications for a Full-Time (1.00 f.t.e.) Physical Education and CTS Teacher at Manning Aurora Composite School. This position will commence on August 27, 2026. The initial assignment will include Senior High PE10/20/30 and CTS Courses (construction, mechanics and welding) with flexibility depending on the successful applicant's skills and interests.

Qualifications:

n

- Bachelor of Education is required.
- Specialization or major in Physical Education, CTS, or a related field is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of Alberta’s curriculum.
- Experience working with students across K–12 grade levels preferred.
- Excellent communications skills with students, staff and parents.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers and educational assistants to ensure student success.
- Proven ability to differentiate lessons to support students’ achievement.
- Strong classroom management skills.

Requirements: n

- Must hold or be eligible for a valid Alberta Teaching Certificate.
- Provide a current Vulnerable Sector Check, dated within six (6) months of your application.

This teaching position falls under the Collective Agreement between the Alberta Teachers' Association and the Peace River School Division.

Annual Salary Range: $ 66,520 to $ 112,451 (dependent on experience and education in accordance with the collective agreement between the Alberta Teachers’ Association and the Peace River School Division).
