Twin Valley Co-op is hiring a Grocery Manager for their Food Store in Birtle Manitoba.

What you’ll do:

nReporting to the Food Store Manager, the successful applicant will be self-motivated, ambitious, and energetic and be involved in all aspects of grocery team operations including recruitment, training and development and performance management.n

- Provide strong leadership and support to all grocery team members.
n
- Provide top notch customer service satisfaction.
n
- Organize, direct and co-ordinate the operations of the grocery store team
n
- To achieve budgeted goals.
n
- Maintain consistent buying and selling policies.
n
- Ensuring merchandising, product and facility image are at the highest standards.
n
- Responsible for accounting and reporting procedures as required.
n




- To assume responsibility for maintenance of competitive prices and initiating price checks.
n
- Assist Food Manager to prepare and implement annual budget.
n

nThe Community:nTwin Valley Co-op serves a broad geographic area in Western Manitoba from Elkhorn , Miniota, Birtle, Rossburn and Russell communities and villages within. We provide a full range of services such as Bulk Petroleum, Food Stores, Home & Building Supplies, Agro Centres, Co-op Ag Equip Service and Gas Bars. If you are interested in moving to this area:n

Who you are:

nYou are looking for a career in Grocery food store management and possess:n

- Strong technical knowledge and experience; Robust customer service skills.
n
- Demonstrated supervisory and delegation experience.
n
- At least 3 years of previous food retail experience.
n
- Excellent leadership, interpersonal, organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
n
- Ability to foster a culture focused on safety, innovation, and teamwork.
