nExplore Edmonton’s two venues host hundreds of meetings, conventions, concerts, sporting events and other events annually. If you love to be a part of the action, want to see live music, meet and greet hundreds of Edmontonians in a day or night, this is the place to be!nThe Edmonton EXPO Centre is looking for temporary Guest Experience Event Staff, who will be vital to executing KDays, which will take place July 17– 26, 2026.n

Positions will support gate operations, train operations and various roles throughout the site, greeting, answering questions, providing direction and access control.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

n

n
- Welcoming guests, clients and staff with courtesy, professionalism, and a positive attitude
n
- Providing a great first impression, exuding positive body language
n
- Maintaining knowledge of the venue and event to support guests with questions
n
- Providing direction and assistance as required
n
- Monitoring surroundings to detect potential safety hazards
n
- Maintaining the cleanliness of the work area
n

nThe successful candidate will have:nn
- Superior communication and interpersonal skills, with a passion for customer service
n
- Previous customer service experience is considered an asset
n
- Excellent problem-solving and positive decision-making skills
n
- Diplomacy and tact when handling sensitive situations and information
n




- An ability to work well both independently and within a collaborative team environment, with the flexibility to change with new ideas that are introduced
n
- Knowledge of the City of Edmonton and local attractions is considered an asset
n
- An ability to work shift work; daytime, evenings, weekends, and holidays
n
