Our Housekeeping Attendants will be responsible for ensuring our guest rooms, guest areas, and laundry facilities maintain a high standard of cleanliness, functionality and aesthetics.

Duties and Responsibilities:

n

A shift may include:

n

n
- Rooms: Cleaning assigned rooms to Inverary Standards, including: change bed linen and make beds, replace used towels, sweep and mop floors, vacuum carpets, dust furniture, replenish bath care products (e.g. soap and shampoo), and disinfect all surfaces
n
- Areas: Cleaning public areas, like corridors, pool area and conference facilities
n
- Laundry: Cleaning, folding, organizing and distributing property linens using equipment in our in office laundry facility
n

nWill also include:n

n
- Reporting any technical issues and maintenance needs
n
- Reporting lost items to your manager or supervisor
n
- Ensuring all assigned work areas are clean and tidy by the end of the shift, assisting team members to ensure fulfillment of overall property needs
n
- Follow hotel health, safety and security guidelines
n
- Monitor and maintain space functionality and aesthetic to optimize the guest experience
n
- Engage guests and act as an Inverary brand ambassador
n
- Attend meetings and training courses as required
n
- Any other duties as required
n

nQualifications:n

n
- High school diploma an asset
n
- Previous experience as a housekeeper or cleaner an asset
n
- Experience with industrial strength cleaning products an asset
n




- WHMIS certification provided
n
- Able to work with minimal supervision while meeting high performance standards
n
- Strong attention to detail and strong organizational skills
n
- Able to work well under pressure
n
- Able to follow instructions
n
- Able to provide friendly service to our guests
n
- Flexible to work in shifts
n
- Able to effectively communicate in the English language
n

nWorking Conditions:n

n
- Frequent standing, bending, reaching, kneeling and carrying
n
- Working with industrial strength cleaning products
n
- Morning, evening, weekend as well as overtime shifts as required
n
- Lifting or moving up to 35lbs will be required
n
- Personal Protective Equipment provided to use as necessary, including gloves, earplugs, goggles, etc.
