Scotts Canada Ltd., in St. Margarets, NB, is seeking individuals interested in employment within the Mill.

n

Duties include, but are not limited to:

n

- Operation of various peat baling equipment

n

- Assist others in performing their duties

n

- Keep work area clean

n

- Pallet repair

n

- Other duties as assigned

n

n

Applicants MUST:

n

- Work in a protected manner and display a good attitude

n

- Have the ability to read and understand written instructions in ENGLISH and to complete paperwork, forms and checklists

n

- Have reliable transportation

n

- Work independently and as part of a team

n

- Be capable of working overtime and shift work

n

- Be capable of working in a noisy, dusty environment and in cold and hot conditions

n

- Be capable of lifting up to 50 pounds

n

- Be willing to be trained for other jobs

n

- Meet minimum performance standards

n

- Be able to use a wide variety of implements (broom, shovel, vacuum, etc.) to ensure cleanliness of the plant

n

- Not have restrictions limiting one’s ability to properly wear Personal Protective Equipment

n

- Provide a CPIC (Criminal Record) Check. Note: This is NOT a requirement for current Scotts Associates

n

Bilingualism is an asset, but not a requirement, as is experience in operating a forklift

n

Wages as per collective agreement

n
