Role Overview
nAre you a Psychology graduate looking to gain hands‑on experience in schools while building a career in Educational Psychology, Child Development, or Mental Health? We’re working with welcoming primary schools across Sutton, Epsom, and nearby areas who are looking for enthusiastic graduates to join their teams as Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistants. This role offers fantastic experience supporting pupils’ learning, behaviour, and emotional development in the classroom.n
As a Psychology Graduate Teaching Assistant, you’ll work closely with teachers and SEN staff to support pupils who may need additional guidance with learning or social development.

Responsibilities

- Supporting pupils 1:1 or in small groups
n
- Assisting children with SEND such as autism, ADHD, or SEMH needs
n
- Helping teachers deliver engaging classroom activities
n
- Supporting pupils with emotional regulation and behaviour
n
- Creating a positive and supportive learning environment
n
n
Qualifications
nn
- A Psychology graduate or holds a related degree
n
- Passionate about child development and education
n
- Calm, patient, and supportive in their approach
n
- Interested in gaining experience in school settings
n
- Previous experience with children (tutoring, mentoring, coaching, care work, or volunteering) is desirable but not essential
n

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position, and in some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
