nQuality Assurance Manager, Fortunen

We are seeking a detail-oriented and quality-driven Quality Assurance Manager to join our team at our groundfish processing facility in Fortune. This role is responsible for overseeing all quality and food safety programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and maintaining the highest product quality throughout processing.

The Position

nReporting to the Plant Manager and working closely with the Director of Quality Assurance & Technical Services, the Quality Assurance Manager is responsible for:n

- Leading and managing all aspects of the facility’s Preventive Control Plan (PCP)
n
- Developing, implementing, and continuously enhancing PCP, HACCP, and quality assurance programs
n
- Delivering training to employees on quality, food safety, PCP, and HACCP requirements
n
- Conducting internal audits and leading or supporting third-party audits and regulatory inspections
n




- Providing technical expertise on product specifications, customer inquiries, and regulatory requirements
n
- Ensuring compliance with all applicable food safety regulations and global standards
n
- Supporting additional quality and food safety initiatives as required
n

nQualifications & Experiencen

n
- 3–5 years of experience in the food processing industry, preferably in seafood
n
- Strong working knowledge of sanitation, food safety, HACCP, PCP, and global food safety standards
n
- Self-motivated with the ability to take initiative and work independently
n
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills
n
- Experience developing and delivering training programs is considered an asset
n
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Office 365 (Word, Excel, Outlook)
n
