Key Responsibilities

n-Plan, organize, and oversee community recreation programs, events, and initiatives.n

-Coordinate seasonal operations including arena and pool programming

n

-Oversee the planning, operation, and staffing of the arena kitchen.

n

-Manage bookings and day-to-day operations of recreation facilities.

n

-Identify and apply for grant funding opportunities.

n

-Promote programs and events through social media, local communications, and community outreach.

n

-Work collaboratively with the Recreation Board, Town of Eatonia, and community partners.

n

Qualifications and Skills

n-Experience in recreation, event planning, community development, food service, or a related field is an asset.n

-Strong organizational and time management skills.

n

-Ability to work independently and collaboratively with a volunteer board.

n

-Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

n

-Experience with marketing or social media promotion is considered an asset.

n

-Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.

n
