REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: RESIDENTIAL COORDINATOR & CLINICAL CASE MANAGER
n
As a Residential Support Mentor, you willnprovide direct support to those individuals within our Residential Program.
n
As a Residential Support Mentor, you will:
n
· Understandnand familiarize with participant’s care plans
n
· AdministernParticipant medications & PRNS as required
n
· Assist thenparticipants during times of crisis;
n
· Complete dailyngeneral duties assigned to each shift in the residence; including but notnlimited to: meal planning and preparation (cooking), maintenance of home andnpremises (cleaning),
n
· Maintain a closenworking relationship with the Clinical team to ensure participant’s needs arenbeing met
n
As a Successful Candidate you will possess the following Qualificationsnand Experience:
n
· Previousnexperience working with individuals living with severe Mental Health
n
· Previouslynexperience working with individuals who engage in substance use
n
· Atnleast two years’ experience in a related role
n
· HighnSchool Diploma or GED required
n
· An understandingnof Manitoba Licensing Legislation and Regulations
n
· Abilitynto present a Satisfactory Child and Adult Abuse Registry check, satisfactorynCriminal Record Check (vulnerable sector search) and a satisfactory Driver’s Abstractnand 5F Driver’s License.
n
· Holdna valid First Aid CPR Certificate
n
· Thenability to attend work regularly as scheduled or requested.
n
· Annunderstanding or previous experience with Harm Reduction techniques
n
· Strongncommunication skills: Written and Verbal (English)
n
· Abilitynto build robust, positive and professional relationships with others
n
· Demonstratencultural knowledge competence and participate in agency training forndevelopment.
n
· Ansafe and reliable vehicle with proof of appropriate insurance on vehicle (atnleast $2 Million, Third Party Liability)
n
