nFull-Time - Sr. High Generalist Teacher For 2026-2027n

Billed to Bill Woodward School under Northland School Division. The start date will be August 24th, 2026. Bill Woodward School is located in the hamlet of Anzac, approximately 50 kilometres south of Fort McMurray. Major Responsibilities Include

n

- Following the prescribed program of studies for each subject taught.
n
- Plan and execute daily lessons based on short, medium and long range planning.
n
- Provide feedback to students and parents in a regular, timely manner.
n
- Champion Cree language/culture revitalization and curriculum infusion.
n
- Support school-parent-community engagement.
n
- Possess solid interpersonal skills and commit to collaborative-decision making.
n
- Promote differentiated instruction to meet diversity in learning needs.
n

Qualifications and Requirements include

nn
- Must hold or qualify for Alberta teaching certification and a Teaching Quality Standard certificate.
n
- Must hold a Bachelor of Education (BEd.) degree.
n




- Successful years of teaching experience in rural and/or Indigenous communities.
n

nAdditionally, if you receive a successful evaluation, there may be an opportunity to receive a continuous contract.n
