Tammy Boyko and Carlan Wilbon with Aplin are currently hiring a reliable and customer-focused Cafeteria Assistant to join our clients team at a busy corporate cafeteria located in a downtown Winnipeg head office. This is a outstanding opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM (no evenings or weekends)
Key Responsibilities
Assist with food preparation including basic cooking, portioning, and plating
Serve customers in a friendly and efficient manner
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately
Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including kitchen and serving areas
Support daily cleaning and sanitation tasks
Provide excellent customer service to employees and guests
Follow all company policies, procedures, and food safety standards
Qualifications
Previous experience in food service or a cafeteria setting is an asset
Robust customer service and communication skills
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Reliable, punctual, and a team player
Basic cash handling experience preferred
Knowledge of food safety practices is an asset
