In your role at the Sandy Bay facility, you will be part of an interdisciplinary team aiming to restore and enhance recovery for clients. Under the direction of the Mental Health and Addictions Manager, you will assess needs and implement appropriate recovery strategies. Your qualifications and experience will empower clients through impactful group and individual counseling.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide individual and group counseling tailored to client needs • Develop and implement addiction recovery plans • Assess clients for addictions and co-occurring disorders • Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams • Document client interactions and progress accurately
Requirements: • Diploma in Mental Health & Addictions Counselling • Minimum one year experience in related fields • Valid Class 5 driver's license • Expertise in addiction assessment techniques • Knowledge of best practices in addiction recovery
