Job Description
Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates patient care. Active participation in the model of care that integrates quality improvement principles, lean methodology, best practice, advanced technology and patient family centered care. Responsible for promoting organizational mission, vision and values by providing protected quality nursing care to clients.n
Education
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BScN)
Other Education and Training
Nursing diploma is acceptable
Knowledge and Abilities
Possess effective communication skills with the ability to relate to individuals
Ability to deal with clients in their homes and adapt to frequent changes
Demonstration of efficiency and a calm manner in providing nursing services
Demonstrate empathy/concern & interest in providing care for home care clients
Other Information
Creighton is located approximately 2 km south of Flin Flon
2 years related experience in community or geriatric nursing preferred
Be physically fit and able to perform duties as outlined
Registered/eligible with the College of Registered Nurses of Saskatchewan (CRNS)
