Welder-Fabricator TIG/MIG

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

n

- Responsible for fitting and welding of stainless steels, titanium and zirconium parts using any welding process, primarily TIG.n

- Set up welding machines based on the job at hand or using a Welding Procedure Specification

n

- Read and interpret blueprints and/or drawings to determine the specific welding requirements

n

- Use any welding process to weld a variety of materials and equipment based on the specifications of the blueprints and/or drawings

n

- Ensure work is done safely and meets quality standards set forth by the company

n

- Assemble items as instructed by a supervisor, blueprints and/or drawings

n





- Keep work areas clean and organized and take proper care of all equipment and facilities

n

- Provide a outstanding level of attention to detail and focus on the given task

n

- Work with others to maximize productivity and efficiency

n

- Lift raw materials, final products, and items packed for shipment, manually (up to 50 lbs), or using a hoist

n

- Repair worn parts of metal products by welding on extra layers

n

nQualifications: (experience needed and education)

n

- High school degree or trade school requiredn

- At least 3 years of TIG welding experience is required

n

- Experience with stainless steel as a minimum is required, titanium and/or zirconium highly preferred

n

- Experience with all welding processes, TIG welding highly preferred.

n

nSalary: $28.00 / Hour

n

Job Type: Full-time permanent, Minimum 32 hours per week

n

Language: Intermediate English speaking is required

n
