Service Writer / Parts Advisor (Full-Time)

Clairmont, AB | Permanent

Commandeur Mechanical is a family-owned automotive and heavy-duty repair shop in Clairmont, AB. We’re looking for a motivated Service Writer / Parts Advisor who thrives in a fast-paced shop workplace and isn’t afraid to stay hands-on.

This is not a desk job. You’ll be the first and last point of contact for our customers while coordinating repairs, managing parts, and keeping the shop moving.

What You’ll Do

- Greet customers and manage their service experience from start to finish
- Write and explain repair estimates; obtain approvals
- Communicate with technicians and customers on repair progress
- Schedule jobs and manage work orders
- Order and run parts as needed
- Move between the office, shop, and suppliers throughout the day
- Perform physical tasks, including lifting when required

What We’re Looking For

- 2+ years experience as a Service Writer (automotive or heavy truck/trailer)
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable multitasking
- Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, service software)
- Parts knowledge is an asset
- Physically capable and comfortable being on the move
- Valid Class 5 Driver’s License (clean driving record)

Pay & Schedule





- Wagesbased on experience
- Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
