About the Role: We are looking for a reliable and organized Taxi Dispatcher to join our team at our Trenton office. As dispatcher, you are the backbone of our operation — making sure every customer gets a driver and every driver gets their rides. You will monitor our booking app, handle incoming customer calls, and coordinate directly with drivers to ensure smooth and timely service.

Responsibilities:

- Monitor the booking app and ensure all ride requests are assigned to a driver promptly
- Redirect rides manually when the app does not automatically assign a driver
- Answer incoming customer calls and book rides on their behalf
- Contact available drivers by phone to assign rides when needed
- Track driver locations and availability throughout your shift
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, or special requests professionally
- Maintain a log of rides, driver availability, and any issues during your shift




- Communicate clearly and calmly with both drivers and customers at all times
- Escalate any serious issues to management

What We're Looking For:

- Strong communication skills — explicit, friendly and professional on the phone
- Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure, especially during busy periods
- Good problem solving skills — able to think quickly and find solutions
- Basic computer and smartphone skills
- Previous dispatch, customer service, or call centre experience is an asset but not required — we are willing to train the right person
- Reliable and punctual with the ability to work independently
- Knowledge of Trenton, and the surrounding area is a strong asset

Position Details:

- Full time position, and part time positions available
- Various shifts available including days, evenings, and overnight
- In person at our Trenton office

Compensation:

- Ontario minimum wage
- Friendly, supportive work environment
