At Comox Valley Speech Therapy, we are looking for a Part-Time to Full-time Occupational Therapist to help us provide services to North Vancouver Island.
We are a private practice based out of Comox, B.C in the Comox Valley, but provide SLP services to clients from Nanaimo to Port Hardy and Powell River. You will have the opportunity to deliver individualized and consultative therapy in individual or group settings. To ensure the highest quality of service, you will be provided with administrative and resource supports as well as opportunities to collaborate within our team of SLPs. Accounting and funding services are also included in what we offer to consultants. Services will be provided in clients’ homes or schools, or in private clinic settings. At CVST,
you have control over your caseload with the opportunity to diversify you skills with all populations or work with the population that you’re the most comfortable with.
Please feel free to apply even if you have another position and are looking to supplement this with a few private clients. There are opportunities for part-time work, or the possibility of full-time in the near future.
Qualifications:
- Masters degree in Occupational therapy
- Registration with the College
- Eligibility for registration on the Registry of Autism Service Providers is an asset.
- Must be comfortable working independently in the community.
- Vehicle may be required for seeing clients in their home and in the community.
