ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Omega Solutions delivers customized technology services to clients in healthcare, education, municipal,

and commercial sectors. We are seeking an experienced technician with expertise in installing,

maintaining, and supporting security, phone, low voltage, and IP-based services. This is a agile,

customer-facing technical role requiring versatility across multiple disciplines.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

- Installing and maintaining systems provided or supported by Omega Solutions.

- Offering remote and on-site troubleshooting to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.

- Managing small teams or junior technicians for installations and service tasks.

- Staging, configuring, and installing core networks and hardware for various systems.

- Supporting the engineering team in the design and implementation of systems.

CORE TECHNOLOGY VERTICALS

Experience in the following areas is highly desirable:

- Telephone Systems: VoIP/POTS (Wireless and Hardwired)

- Healthcare Systems: Nurse Call, including Patient Wandering solutions

- Security Systems: IPCCTV, Door Entry/Alarm, Access Control

- Communication Systems: Intercom Systems

- Infrastructure: Low Voltage Cabling, Fire Monitoring Systems

- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite

REQUIRED CORE COMPETENCIES

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills

- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities





- Effective time management to meet project schedules

- Proficient in reading and interpreting electrical drawings and schematics

- Willingness to travel as required

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS

- CEDIA Certification or BCTQ Security Ticket

- COMPTIA A+ Certification

- Valid and unobstructed Class 5 driver's license and access to a vehicle (Company vehicle

provided for most jobs)

PREFERRED ADDITIONAL CERTIFICATIONS

- Lift Ticket

- Fall Arrest Ticket

- COMPTIA Network+, Security+

- Low Voltage FSR Ticket
