Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and caring individual to join our team as a part time Animal Care Attendant. As a key member of our clinic, you will play a vital role in ensuring the well-being of our patients and the smooth operation of our facility. Your compassion, attention to detail, and solid work ethic will contribute to the overall success of Port Elgin Veterinary Clinic.
Responsibilities:
· Assist staff during appointments only when needed.
· Prepare ,clean, maintain exam rooms.
· Monitor and help with care for hospitalized animals.
.· Handle and restrain animals in a calm and gentle manner.
· Maintaining a clean and organized clinic environment.
Qualifications:
· Passion for working with animals and their owners.
· Ability to multitask, work efficiently under pressure, and prioritize tasks.
· Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
· Physical stamina to lift and move animals of varying sizes.
