Overview
We are seeking 2 dedicated and enthusiastic Outreach Coordinators to join our team. This role is vital in building community relationships, promoting our programs, and expanding our outreach efforts. The ideal candidate will have a passion for engagement, excellent communication skills, and experience in recreational and program development. The Outreach Coordinator will work closely with volunteer members of WADA, and community partners to develop and implement outreach strategies that align with organizational goals.

Duties

- Develop and execute outreach plans to connect with diverse community groups and organizations
- Organize and participate in community events, workshops, and informational sessions
- Build and maintain strong relationships with local organizations and stakeholders
- Create recreational programs and resources tailored to target audiences
- Collaborate with community groups to identify outreach opportunities and improve engagement strategies
- Promote programs through social media, newsletters, and other communication channels
- Assist in recruiting participants for programs, workshops, or events




- Track outreach activities and compile reports to measure effectiveness and inform future initiatives
- Maintains recreation facility and out buildings
- General landscaping duties including gardens
- Social media updates and promotion of Wallace area
- Fundraising, planning and volunteer recruitment

Qualifications

- Experience in community events, fundraising, and recreational program planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to organize events and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Passion for community engagement and service
- Creative problem-solving skills and adaptability
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
- Returning full time student
- Must be able to engage in physical activities

Pay: $18.00 per hour
