Hensall Co-op is seeking an experienced Energy Business Manager to provide commercial, financial and strategic leadership for our Energy Division. This role has accountability for sales growth, profitability, pricing strategy, financial performance and the overall success of the Energy business. This is position will work in conjunction with the Operations team and will report directly to the Chief Operations Officer.

Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the Energy Division ensuring operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and prioritizing customer satisfaction.
- Manage the division's financial health by developing budgets, financial forecasts, and conducting in-depth financial performance analysis.
- Continuously evaluate and enhance operational processes to drive productivity, reduce costs, and uphold high standards of customer service
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, suppliers, regulatory authorities,
and industry partners.
- Ensure alignment of commercial demand with operational capacity while also seeking opportunities to improve efficiency, workflows and asset utilization.
- Recruit, mentor, and empower a high-performing team of approximately 20 employees, while fostering a culture of excellence, teamwork, and accountability.
- Implement and maintain safety protocols and sustainability practices in alignment with industry standards.
- Undertake all other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
- A strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting
- Excellent analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities
- Exceptional interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills
- Proven ability to lead a diverse team, foster innovation, and adapt to evolving market conditions
Required Qualifications:
- Post secondary education in Business, Finance or another related field
- A minimum of 5+ years of proven business and leadership experience
- Prior experience within the energy sector is considered an asset

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $90,000.00-$120,000.00 per year
