Primary Care Locum Physician for Northwest Territories

nMDSearch is recruiting a CCFP-trained Primary Care Physician to join Inuvik Regional Hospital, the only hospital facility serving the Beaufort-Delta region. This role focuses on comprehensive, patient-centred primary care with flexibility to manage complex and multi-issue visits.n

Compensation

Hourly rate (no fee for service).

Inuvik includes pay for 2 hours of administration time every week.
n
Most appointments are 30 minutes
n
Multi-issue appointments are common
n
Holistic primary care is encouraged
n
Occasional phone appointments, primarily for prescription refills
n
Appointments may be extended to 30 minutes for more complex cases
n

Schedule & Commitment

Clinic is usually 9am-noon, 1pm-5pm
n
Duration: At 4 or 5 shifts
n
Travel and accommodations fully covered (meals not included)
n




Travel stipend up to $2,000 for locums travelling to Inuvik
n

nLocum blocks are typically 1–2 weeks, with longer assignments availablen
