Job Description

We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative with experience in the meat or protein industry to drive revenue growth and expand our customer base across foodservice, retail, wholesale, and institutional channels.

This role is focused on building recent business, growing existing accounts, and selling strategically based on product availability and margins.

Includes a $500 welcome bonus after successful probation.

Key Responsibilities

Recent Business Development
Prospect and secure new customers
Convert leads into recurring accounts
Build long-term volume and standing orders

Account Management
Manage and grow assigned accounts
Maintain consistent order flow and customer relationships
Conduct regular in-person customer visits

Strategic Selling
Sell based on inventory, cuts, and profitability
Understand pricing, margins, and market trends

Order Execution
Ensure accurate order details and delivery requirements
Coordinate with operations and production
Manage substitutions and shortages proactively

Qualifications
Experience in meat sales or related industry required
Foodservice, retail, or wholesale experience preferred




Strong communication and relationship-building skills
Organized and self-motivated
Ability to understand margins and inventory realities
Valid driver’s license (travel required)

Working Conditions
Fast-paced, customer-facing and production environment
Regular in-person customer visits
Travel within assigned territory
Occasional handling of product samples
