we are a 12 room hotel in a small community in the nwt
We are looking for a cleaner who will live in the hotel and take care of cleaning rooms and common areas
We are a boutique hotel and our hotel caters to tourists and professionals
Your accommodations are included as well as vehicle to go shopping and pick up guests. a class 5 drivers licence is required.
Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including floors, surfaces, windows, and fixtures
Use cleaning equipment and supplies effectively to ensure optimal results
Follow established cleaning protocols to meet health and safety standards
Restock supplies such as paper products, soap, and other essentials as needed
Dispose of waste properly and maintain cleanliness of storage areas
Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
Adhere to sanitation procedures specific to hospitality, industrial, or custodial environments
Maintain confidentiality and professionalism at all times during cleaning activities
Experience
Prior custodial or cleaning experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided
Experience in hotel or hospitality cleaning is a plus
Background in industrial cleaning or custodial work is advantageous
Familiarity with cleaning tools, equipment, and safety procedures is beneficial
Robust attention to detail and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
