Company Overview

Webistry is a high-performance growth agency that blends strategy, CRO, design, and engineering to help brands scale intelligently. We’re looking for a Full Stack Developer with strong WordPress experience, and bonus points for Shopify expertise. You’ll play a critical role in building and maintaining modern marketing websites and eCommerce storefronts for high-growth brands.

In this role, you will:
Lead and execute WordPress builds, from custom theme development to plugin integration and performance tuning
Contribute to headless WordPress or hybrid builds using REST or GraphQL APIs
Work on Shopify storefronts, customizing themes, templates, and Liquid components
Collaborate closely with designers, CRO strategists, and project managers to translate high-impact UI/UX into clean, scalable code
Work within agile sprints and use tools like Asana, Notion, or Monday.com for task tracking and communication
Leverage AI tools to enhance productivity (GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, etc.) but must be comfortable working autonomously
Liase and strategize directly with clients

What we’re looking for:
5+ years of experience in full stack web development
Strong proficiency with WordPress,



including custom themes, ACF, CPTs, and optionally headless setups
Bonus: experience with Shopify, Liquid, and storefront customization
Familiarity with sprint planning, scoping, QA, and client deliverables
Solid understanding of front-end performance, accessibility, and responsive development
Comfortable in a fast-paced agency setting and confident working across multiple client projects

Please note that this is a remote role, however candidates must reside in the Greater Montreal Area.

Office use is completely optional.
