Shared Health is looking for a Sonographer to join The Pas Health Complex. Under the supervision of the Manager or Charge Technologist, you will perform ultrasound exams and maintain patient standards set by Accreditation. Ideal candidates will have effective communication skills and be familiar with Microsoft Office applications, alongside a solid ability to collaborate in a multi-disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Perform ultrasound services as requested by physicians
• Manage patient care and diagnostic files effectively
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and policies
• Maintain equipment and supplies in optimal condition
• Collaborate with healthcare team members for patient care
Requirements:
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program
• Active registration with Sonography Canada or ARDMS
• CPR training as per employer policy
• Solid problem-solving and organizational skills
• Ability to travel between Shared Health sites
