We are searching for Personal Support Workers who are dedicated to providing the type of care the we would want for our own loved ones and by offering our competitive wages and a phone allowance along with a dedicated support team to back you in the field we have been able to do just that. We have part time days 7am-3pm and part time afternoons 3pm-11pm. These are 1 hour visits home to home. This position covers North Wellington: Mount Forest, Palmerston and surrounding areas. Time frames are not flexible, you must chose 1 time frame and all scheduled days will be the same time frame.

Part time is 3 weekdays (must be same 3 weekdays each week) PLUS every other weekend both sat and sun, no exceptions.

As this is community visiting position a drivers licence (G or G2), a reliable vehicle and car insurance in your name are needed to perform this job. We do pay 40 cents/km between clients for mileage and clients are grouped together as much as possible to minimize travel between.

Starting pay is $23/hr and does include the government wage portion.





Part time receive a $25 monthly phone allowance.

Requirements:

Vulnerable Sector Police Check not over 12 months old

PSW certificate or international nursing degree

Valid CPR certificate

TB test results from within 12 months or chest xray from within 24 months

G or G2 drivers licence, a vehicle and insurance in your name

Must own a cell phone with data

Responsibilities:

Assisting clients with all aspects of daily living

Food preparation and/or assistance with feeding as required

Light housekeeping such as: dishes, folding laundry etc
