The Accounting & Office Administrator will be responsible for accurate and timely preparation, review, and analysis of company financial information. The position will oversee all components of the accounting function including managing month-end accounting, tax compliance, payroll processing, accounts payable, accounts receivable, financial forecasting, cash management and other related accounting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

· Manage all accounting functions including accounts payable, accounts receivable, invoicing, general ledger maintenance, cost accounting and revenue recognition.

· Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements, including journal entries, reconciliations, accruals and variance analysis.

· Support accurate month-end and year-end close processes.

· Maintain strong internal controls and ensure accuracy and integrity of financial records.

· Prepare and submit payroll (with assistance from external payroll provider).

· Review and monitor all monthly, quarterly, and annual filings for taxes and other government remittances.





· Coordinate with external accountants on year-end financial statements and working papers.

· Assist senior leadership in preparation of operating and capital budgets.

· Support cashflow management and financial forecasting.

· Prepare financial analysis to support business decision-making.

· Support general office administration functions to ensure smooth daily operations.

· Support Sales, Purchasing and other internal departments as required.

· Other tasks and duties as assigned by management.

Qualifications

· 3+ years of accounting or bookkeeping experience (manufacturing experience considered an asset)

· Post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration considered an asset

· Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Microsoft Excel

· Ability to manage multiple priorities in a small team environment

· Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

· Self-motivated and comfortable working independently
