Job Description for Registered Psychotherapist

Fern Creek Psychotherapy is seeking Registered Psychotherapists or Registered Psychotherapist Qualifying for several positions beginning soon or in the fall. We are looking to hire several psychotherapists. We require therapists who work with the following:

- Child psychotherapist
- Couples work
- Families
- Trauma
- EMDR
- Neurofeedback

About Us

Fern Creek Psychotherapy is a growing private practice. We currently offer psychotherapy to children, adolescents and adults as individuals, couples or families for presenting issues including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma and grief. We see couples, individuals and families. We currently have offices in Bowmanville and Courtice and are opening one in Brooklin in May.

Qualifications

- The ideal candidate must have at minimum a Master's degree and is Registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (mandatory).
- Bonus:



Certification in advanced training for complex clients and/or trauma processing such as one of the following: EMDR, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, ISTDP, Neurofeedback, etc

Requirements

- Ability to commit to a minimum of three in person shifts per week
- Minimum 15 client hours per week caseload
- Commit to at least one evening or weekend shift per week
- Must have reliable transportation to get to the office
- Ability to work remotely as needed
- Must have a private space available for virtual sessions when needed to conduct work in a professional and confidential manner
- Must have means to conduct virtual sessions at their home (laptop or computer with working camera and microphone/speakers) with internet
- Must have liability insurance
- Must have a fluent working knowledge of English
