Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Farm Hand to join our agricultural team. This role involves hands-on work across various farm operations, supporting the maintenance and productivity of our farm. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, physical stamina, and a passion for farming and outdoor work. This position offers an opportunity to develop practical skills in horticulture, machinery operation, and farm maintenance within a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

- Assist with planting, watering, fertilizing, and harvesting crops using appropriate tools and techniques.
- Operate farm machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, including tractors and power tools.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, irrigation systems, and farm infrastructure to ensure optimal functioning.
- Use hand tools for repairs, pruning, planting, and other manual tasks around the farm.
- Manage irrigation systems to ensure proper water distribution across fields.
- Support livestock care if applicable, including feeding and cleaning enclosures.
- Heavy lifting of supplies, equipment, or harvested crops as needed to support daily farm operations.




- Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas to promote safety and efficiency.

Qualifications

- Basic knowledge of horticulture principles and farm maintenance practices preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge or experience with farm machinery is highly desirable.
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with irrigation systems and basic farm infrastructure is a plus.
- Experience with hand tools, power tools, and general maintenance tasks.
- Strong physical stamina capable of heavy lifting and prolonged outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to planting or harvesting schedules.
- Prior experience working on a farm or in agricultural settings is advantageous but not required.
- Ability to follow safety protocols diligently and work as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: $22.00-$38.00 per hour
