We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and motivated Child and Youth Workers to join our team. The successful candidate will support children and youth with emotional, behavioural, and/or developmental needs in a safe, structured, and nurturing out of home environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide daily care, supervision, and emotional support to children and youth
- Implement individualized care plans, behaviour support strategies, and life-skills programming
- Foster a safe, respectful, and trauma-informed environment
- Support routines such as meals, hygiene, schoolwork, recreation, and bedtime
- Use positive behaviour management and crisis intervention techniques when required
- Maintain accurate documentation, incident reports, and shift notes
- Communicate effectively with team members, supervisors, families, and external professionals
- Participate in team meetings, training, and ongoing professional development
- Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing standards, and child protection legislation

Successful applicants will:

Be currently enrolled in or completed a post-secondary program in a related field (Behavioural Science, Child and Youth Care, Developmental Services, Social Services, Community and Justice Services) or minimum 5 years experience working with complex youth





Ø Possess current First Aid and CPR

Ø Possess current Nonviolent Physical Crisis Intervention certificate though CPI

Possess a current and clear broad records check, valid driver’s license and satisfactory driver’s abstract

Ø Be available to work evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Type: Part time

Pay: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12 – 30 per week
